REVIE4'l. blab AN .ADVISORY ARCHITECT • ZrdITEREAS, by reason of the rapid building devt~lop~nts v~.thi.n the Village of ~ayfi®ld, Ohio, numerous and unusual, problems are being presented vr~.th respect to the construction of dwell3.ng houses and other buildings in the Village; and ~`JfiEREAS, it is the desire of the Council of the Village to preserve axed maintain high standards of bu5.lding and home construction throughout the Village, to maintain the high character of cou~nunity development, to protect the homes and real property within the Village from impairment or destruction of value, to protect property owners and other residents of the Village in the enjoyment of the use of their homes axtd property, and to protect the public ti~relfara, by regulating, according to proper architectural principles, the design, use of materials, finished -~._ grade lines and orientation of all neva buildings h®reafter "er~ated, and ' the moving, alteration, impro~ment, repair, adding to or ra.~ing in whole _ ' or in part of aII ex:i.sting buildings, a,nd to assist the Inspector of Buildings in determ9.ning the propriety of issuing bu3.lding permits in individual cases. idOVd THEREFORE, BE TT QRDASNED BY THE COUIdCTL OF THE VILLAGE OF 1VIAYFTELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY,.. Subsequent appointments to the Board shall be for teruLs of three years each. _ Vaeatacies shall be filled for the remainder of unexpired terms in the same manner as original appointments are made. Any member of the Board shall be subject to removal by the illayor with the. consent of Council.
