ORDINANCE No. 385 <br />By Mr. Godfrey <br />AN CRDIlVANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE No. 86,'THE BUIIaING <br />CODE, .BY REQUIRING CONSTRUCTION OF DRIVEfNAYS,AND.. <br />CULVERTS NOT LATER THAN.THE.TIME OF.EXGAVATION._ <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF•THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CIIYASOGA <br />COUNTY OHIO, THAT:.. . _ _ _ .. .- _ - <br />Sec. ~l. Ordinance No. 85, commonly knouan as the Building Code of <br />the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, is hereby amended by adding thereto <br />Section 212, reading as follrnvss <br />"Sec. 212. Driveways and culverts dur3.n~ construction. <br />No building or structure shall be eonstrueted upon any <br />premises, unless, not later than the time of the excavation <br />for such building or structure, there shall be constructed <br />(a) A suitable driveway, approved by the Inspector <br />_ - of Buildings, providing ingress to and egress fram <br />said premises to the public higY~+ray; end <br />(b) In cases where ditehes abut the premises, proper <br />.. eulverts, to be approved by the Inspector of <br />Buildings.' <br />Sec. 2. This Ordinance is hereby deemed to b® an emargenay measure, <br />necessary for the iannediate preservation of the public peace, health, <br />safety and welfare, and shall go into effect and be in force from and <br />after the date of its. passage. <br />Passed this 17th day of September, 1951, <br />ATTESTS M or -Pres3.dent of Council <br />SEAL Clerk <br />
