CASE OF EMCRGENCY ~~TH <br />THE .VILLAGE OF HIGHLAI~ID HEIGHTS, THE CITY OF HAYFIELD <br />HEIGHTS, THE VILLAGE OF GATES. MILLS, AND THE <br />GARF'IELD (_ WILLOUGHBY TOWNSHIP) FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />BE IT ORDAII~D BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, <br />STATE OF .OHIO, THAT: __ ~. <br />Seer 1, The Mayor and Clerk of the Village of Mayfield are hereby <br />authorized to enter into a contract on behalf of the Village of Mayfield <br />with th® Village of Highland Heights, The City of hayfield Heights, The <br />Village of Gates Mil~.a-, 97ad th® Garfield Fiz~ra D~pax°tment •f Willoughby <br />T orvnship, Lake County, Ohio, prov3.ding for the . exchange of fire fighting <br />equipment and firemen i~ the event of emergencyo Such contract sha11 <br />define emergency to mean such a simultaneous existence of afire or fires <br />in a municipality or political subdivision within whose limits such fire <br />or fires exist that said municipality or subdivision is unable to cope <br />~Yi~c?a ~:,hs same. Such contract shall x~ot requiro any party thereto to <br />leave unprotected or in jeopardy its own territory and shall provide <br />that the party m.akit~g such emergency run oLLt of its oYv7~ territarial limits <br />shall bear all expenses, loss or damage incurred thereby.
