Center Road; f'rom the.:southerly_..line of..lot 15 <br />of Mayfield r9.cres Subdivision,• in the..said vill.age, to a point approx- <br />imat,ely 2056 -feet south thoreof, by establishing a grade, grading and <br />cons-bructing sidetiialks, amounting, in the aggregate to $5394.03, as <br />reported to said Council on the ciay of , 1921, by the boArd <br />heretofore appointed to estimate said assessment, Ue and the same is <br />hereby adopted, and there levied and assessedupon the lots and lands <br />bounding and abutting on said S.O.M. Center.Road between the southerly <br />line of 1ot 15 of 1-ltayfield Acres Subdivision in the said village; to <br />a poir_t approximately 2056 feet south thereof, the several amounts <br />heretofbre reported to said Council by said board, which assessment <br />together with the description of said lots and lands and the several <br />amounts assessed upon the said lots and lancis, is notiv on file in the <br />oi"fice of the Clerk of said Council, vrhich assessments are in proportion <br />to the special benefits accruing to the property assessed, and not in <br />excess of the actual special benefits of said property. <br />Section 2. Tnat the to'ual assessment agaznst each lot and parcel <br />of land shall be paJable in cash vrithin thirty days f'rom and after the <br />passa,o and legal publication of this ordinance, or in ten annual install- <br />msnt s with interest at not t o exceed si x per centum per annum upon def'erred <br />payments, at the option of the ovrner. lLll cash payments shall be made to <br />the Village Treasuz•er. 1111 unpaid installments of assessments at the <br />expiration of said thir-t-y da;js shall be certified by the Clerk of this <br />Council to the County -,'Luditor, together with f'ee for collecting same, <br />as provided by law, to be by him placed upon the tax duplicate and col- <br />lection as other taxes. Section 3. That t'r_is ordinance shall take eff'ect and be in force <br />from and after its passage and earliest period allovied by larr. .
