PATTERSON. <br />AN ORDINANCE At?ltE1VDING SECTION 24, TITLE TV OF ORDIN9NCE No, 869 <br />ENTITLID "AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE OFFICE OF INSPECTOR OF <br />BUILDTNGS, DEFTNING THE DUTIES AND POV]ERS OF SUCH INSPECTOR' <br />REGULATING THE CONSTRUCTION OF BUILUINGS WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF <br />MAYFIELD, REPE9LING ORDINijNCE No. 109 PASSED APRIL llth., 19219 <br />ENTITLFID IAN ORDINASdCE CREIA±^1ING THE OFFICE OF INSPECTOR OF <br />BUILDINGS, DEFINING THE DUTIES AND POVffA.S OF SUCH INSPECTOR, <br />REGIILATTNG THE CONSTRUC^ION OF BUILDINGS jVITF3IN T'rIE VTLLAGE <br />OF IVIAYFIELD r, ANND DECLARING AN ENtERG-PNCY °. <br />V9HEREAS, this Cou.ncil believes that the fee for a building pernit <br />based upon a. charge of twenty-five cents (25?) per one hundred (I00) square <br />feet of floor surface for buildings having more than four hundred (400) square <br />feet of floor surface is unreasonabl.e when ap?.plied to the construction of <br />greenhouses, and <br />u?T+HEREAS, this Council bel.ieves that the reasonable fee for a build- <br />ing permit for gieenhouses having more than four huizdred (400) square feet <br />of floor surface would be fifteen cents (15?) per one hundred (100) square <br />feet of floor surface; <br />NOW, THER.EFORE, BE,IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of <br />iWayfield, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. The fifth paragraph of Section 249 Title IV of Ordinaxice <br />No. 86 be and the same hereby is amended so that -the same sha11 read, <br />u25f per 100 square feet of floor, szarface f or a permit covering <br />construction or alteration of dvPellings, or buildings appurtenant <br />there-t,o9 involJing more than 400 square feet' btzt not including <br />tenement houses or greenhouses. The minimum fee of $2.00 shall <br />be charged." <br />Section 2. Section 24 of Title TV of Qrdinance Vos 86 shall be <br />amended by inserting after the fif-L-h paragraph thereof, 'uhe followi.ng paragrapr, <br />to-wit:- <br />'r15f per 100 square feet of floor surf ace for a perm-i.t covering the <br />construction or alteration of greenhouses involving more than 400 <br />square feet of fl.oor surfaeeo The minimum fee of $2a00 shall be <br />charged." <br />Section 5. The present existing sixth paragraph of Section 24, <br />Title TV of Ordinance Noo 86 shall be amended so that the same shall read, <br />1150f per 100 sq,uare feet of floor space for a permit covering <br />construction or alteration of tenement houses9 buildings intended <br />for business or builclings appu-rtenant thereto, involving more <br />than 400 square feet, excepting greenhouses."
