POSS. <br />ANN ORDINANCE CREATING THE OFFICE OF I3EPU'I'Y. <br />NIARSH9L POR THE VTLLAGE OF MB.YFIELDm <br />BE IT ORD9INID by the Council of the Village of Mayfield? <br />Guyahoga County9 Ohio9 that:- <br />Section 1. There hereby is created the office of Deputy <br />Marshal for the Village of Bdayfield. <br />Section 2. Such Deputy Marshal shall be appointed by the <br />PJtayor and shall qualify as such by giving bond in the penal sum of Five Hundred <br />Dollars ($500,00)e <br />Section 3. The wages of such Deputy Ma.rshal axe hereby <br />fixed at the rate of seventy five cents (75f) ger hour for aetual time spent <br />in the discharge of his duties9 whieh 'said sum shall include the use of a motor- <br />cycle to be furnished by the said Deputy Marshal without additional cost to <br />ths Vi1.lage. • <br />Section 4s Said Deputy Marshal shall have aII the powers, <br />duties ana authority usually incident to the office of Deputy MarshaZ. He <br />shall be directly responsibZe in the discharge of his'duties to the Mayor. He <br />shall be on duty as such Deputy Marshal du.ring sueh hours as the Ma.yor shall <br />direct. Section 5. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />Emergency Ordinancep necessaxg for the immediate preservation of the public <br />health' safety and convenience for reasons apparent from the c.ontents of this <br />Orclinance. <br />Passed the 21st day of Ma.y' A.
