ORDIVPNCE No s 213 <br />BY COUNCII?V;AN YOUNG <br />AN ORDTNF1dCE TO PROVIDE FOR PAYP1 ?,IdTS TO BE 'HkDE FOR <br />TM UPKEEP OF R.ATIOP?ING BOIRD 34 38-22. <br />4=,REAS, Congress has not mad.e any provision for the payment of the <br />expenses of Rationing Boa.rds created to coge rJith the present Vational <br />Emergency, leaving the making of such provision to Iocal governments, and <br />V'dHEREAS, it is the desire af this Council ta cooperate tivith the other <br />Lnunicipa?itiies served by said Rationing Board, and <br />V7HHEEREA5? it h.as been deterniined that the share of this Village i n <br />such expenses through zxid including 12ay 3I., 1943 amounts to $35o00 and <br />tha.t the share of this Village in such expenses a.,mounts to $5.00 a month <br />a.fter such da-te' <br />Iv`OW, THEREF'ORE, BE IT ORDA?AIED BY TFE COUNCIL OF TIE,] VTLI:ACTE QF <br />ivlAYFTELD, CU-YAHOGA COUidTY, OHIO, That: <br />Section l. It is hereby determi-ned that the Village pay to Rationing <br />Board 54 I8-22 the sum of $35.00.as and for the share of this Village in <br />the operating expenses of said Ra.tioning Board.througr and including 114ay 31y <br />I943, yJha.ch sum is hereby appropriated. <br />• Section 2. It is hercby detcrmined that, commencing with the month of <br />June'' 1943 and eontiniz.z.ng thereafter. so Iong as said Rationing Baard shall <br />coiltinue to function ar untiZ further order of -this Council, there be paic. <br />° by this Village to said Rationing Doard the sum of $5.00 a month as and for <br />-the share of this Village in the running expenses of said Rationing Board. <br />Sectien S. Proper officers of the Village be and they hereby .are <br />au.thorized and directed to issue the war-ran-L-s of this Village in ;nayment of <br />the aforesaid swns to sa.ia Rationing Board. <br />-Section 4.
