CENTER RQAD BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF A ~A.TER.MAIN_ . ~~REAS, this Council adopted Nesolution No. 282 on May 16, 1955a declaring. the _ necessity of improving Highland Road from the ?~~esterly line of the Village ofMayfield in an Easterly direction to the Westerly line of SOri Center Road. by the construction of a water main and appurtenances in accordance with the plans, specifications, estimates and profiles prepared by the Village Engineer and now on file in the office of the Clerk of the V; ~ ~ a ge of Mayfield; and ~JHE S, a Certificate of the Clerk has been filed with the Council shotiring service of notice of the passage of said Resolution No. 2$2 on the ,owner of each piece of property abutting on the above described improvement; and ® : Ir71~RF1AS, the Clerk has certified that no claims for damages have been filed during the claim period; and T~I~EAS, the Cotmcil of the Village of rayfield desires to proceed with the said improvement. _ Id01~7 THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIIaLD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY OHIO, -THREE-FOURTHS OF ALL. MEMBERS ELECTED THERETO CONCURRING: Sec. 1. That it is hereby determined to proceed with~the improvement of Highland Road in the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, from the i~esterly 7~ne of the Village of N~ayfield, in an Easterly direction to the Westerly l-ina of SOrI Center Road by the construction of a__water main, all in accordance with Resolution No. 252, adopted May 15, 1955, and~in accordance Vrith the plans, specifications, estimates and profiles heretofore approved and now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Village. Sec. 2® That all claims for damages resulting therefrom shall be judicially inquired into after the completion of the proposed improvement and the solicitor be and hs is hereby authoi~i.zed to institute proceedings in a court of competent juriscli.ction to inquire into claims. Sec. 3. That 60~ of the cost of said improvement shall be assessed in proportion to the benefits which may result from the improvement upon the follo~r.i.ng described lots and lands, to-wit: __ Ali. lots and lands bounding and abutting upon the Northerly , and Southerly sides of Highland Road beginning with the Westerly
