SI~9ILAR COI~ITAITtIERS. _ <br />Z7I~RIi~,A-S, abandoned, unattended and discarded ice bo~.es, refrigerators <br />and similar containers having air tight doors tiahich ~rhen closed cannot be <br />opened from the inside, have caused the death of children in other municipalities <br />and menace the lives and safety of the children of this Village. <br />NOr~J 11^HERE~'OF,E BE IT ORIlAII~D BY TI-IL COUTdCIL OF THE V.CIII;AGE OF <br />I~1AYP'IELD, CUYAHOGA COUTdTY OHIO, THAW: _ <br />Sec. 1. It shall be unlaw•"u1. for arty person, firm or corporation, <br />to leave, cause to be left, or permit to remain outside of any building, <br />dwell.in.g or other structure, or taithin any unoccupied or abandoned building, <br />dtire7l~xxg, or other. structure, under his or its control, in a place accessible <br />to children, any abandoned, unattenc'~ed or discarded ice boy, refrigerator, <br />or other container of any kind ~rhich has anair-tight door, snap, or other <br />device from said ice boy, refrigerator, or container. <br />Violation of any of the provisions of this section shall be <br />punishable by a fine of not more thasi w100.00, or imprisonment for not <br />more than 30 days.. or both. <br />Sec. 2.
