SAI~TARY.SEIr~RS _AEE„NOT AVA,IGABLE. _ , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MA~IELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY OHIO, THAT:.- _ - - - Sec. 1. (Section 13 (a) of Ordinance No. 159, commonly known as the Zoning ~dinance of the ~i7lage._of Mayfield, Ohio, as amended by Ordinances Nos. 2?~8 and Z~08,- is hereby amended to_read as follows: "Sec. 13 (a). In a Class A-1 District, no dwelling shall be erected or altered to accommodate or make provision for more than one family for each 20,000 square feet of the area of the lot, and no such lot shall have a frontage of less than 100 feet; but, where sanitary sewers. are not available, no dwelling shall be erected or altered in a Class A-1 District to accommodate or make provision for more than one famiJty~ .for each 35,000 square feet of the area of the lot and no such lot shall have a frontage of less than 100 feet. Provided, that a single family dwelling house may be erected on any numbered lot.in a recorded subdivision that was on record in the office of the County Recorder at the time of the passage of this amended ordinance. Provided further that a single dwe113ng house may be erected on any.,sublot shown on any a]~.otment plat which has been submitted to Council prior to the date of this ordinance, if'.such:~.lot:'.contains an area of not less than 20,000 square feet and has a frontage of not less than 100 feet." Sec. 2. This ordinance is hereby deemed to be an emergency measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety, peace and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order to prevent over-crowding of families.. in the Village and i.ri order to provide for sufficient space where septic tanks are~the only means available for sewage purposes, and this Ordinance shall go into effect and be in force from and after the date of_its passage.
