Road9 are hereby rejected and t,he Clerk is authorized and direct,ed to return to all said biclders9 except iiort,hern 4hio Paving Campany, the certified checks which accompanied their bids. Sec. 2. Ohio are hereby authy°ized to enter into -a contract on b ehalf of -F.he Vi1l.age of Mayfield Urith said Northern Ohio Paving Company for the grading,ditching and paving with asphaltic materials of Seneca Road, from S%2 Center Road in an Easterly direction to Beech Hill Road, and of Glenvi.ew Road9 from SCM Center Road in an Easterly direction to Beech Hill Road' and of Bonnieview Road, from SOM Center Road in an Easterly direction to Beech Hi7.l Road, for the total sum of $30'551000' according to the bid submitted by Iiorthern Ohio Paving Companyy at such time as the necessary funds for that-purpose are available or in -the process of collection. Sec. 3o This Ordz.nance is deemed to be an emergency measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health9 safety and welfare of the Vil.lage of Mayfield-ana its inhabitants9 because of the bad condition of said s treets, and this ordinance shal3. -take effect and be in force from and after the date of its passage as an emergency measure.
