Compensationo The f ollow3.ng compensation sha11 be <br />paid, beginning as of July lst, 1959, but may be changed at any time <br />by Council by Ordina nce or Res o7.utions <br />Max°shall or Chief of Poli.ce -» $5500.00 per year, <br />Sergeant of Police and Regular Policeman - at the rate of <br />$4800.00 per year for six <br />month probationary period., <br />thereafter at the ra°i-,e of <br />#5000000 per yearm <br />In addition, the Marshall or Chief of Police9 the <br />Sergeant of Police9 and any regular^ policeman shall <br />be paid at the rate of 41075 for each hour spent <br />by him in operating or assisting,in the operation <br />of radar equipment on the public highways in the <br />Village of Mayfield after his regu.Iar work shift <br />or after his regular working hourso Special Policemen $1.75 per each hour durino which he serves <br />as su.ch on assignment by the Mayor or Chief of <br />Poli.ceo The total number of hours to be served by <br />aZl Special PoTicemen during ar?y one week shall not <br />exceed. 64, but Council may change the maximum number <br />of hours at any time by Ordinance or Resolutian. <br />Provided, howeVer, -tliat the Mayor at his discretion <br />may authorize the employrlent of Special Policemen in <br />excess of 64 hours a week and the employment of regular <br />policemen af ter their regix3ar working hours' at the <br />ra-te of $1.75 Per hour, for the purpose of serving
