Noa 548,11 as amended by Ordinaaces Nos. 659, 670 <br />and 696, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />°tSec. 3o Gompensation _and Allowance for Uniforms. The <br />' folloxaing compensats.on shall be paid, beginning as of March 1, 1960, <br />bnt may be ehanged.at.any ti.me_by Council by Ordinance or Besolntion: <br />Marshall or Chief of Poliee - $5775.00 per year, <br />Sergeant.of Police and Regu].ar policeman - at the rate of $4800, 00 <br />; p!--r year for six ffionth probationary period, there- <br />af ter at the rate of $5000. 00 per year.
