Ordinance No. 724 <br />By Mr. Zorn <br />AN ORDINANCE FROVIDING FOR EXCHANGE OF FIP.E <br />EQUIPMENT ,AND FIREPaIEN IN CASE OF a-iERGENCY <br />WITH THE VILLAGE OF WII.'L4UGHBY HTI,I,$ , OHIO. <br />BE IT ORDAIiIED BY THE COUNCII. OF THE VII,LAGE OF TIAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />Sec. 1. The Niayor and Clerk of the Village of P4ayfield, Ohio, are <br />hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements on behalf of <br />the Village of A?ayfield with the Village of t4illoughby Iiills, Ohio, <br />providing for the exchange of fire f ighting equipment and f iremen in the <br />event of emergency. Such agreement or Agreements sh.all not require any <br />party thereto to leave unprotected or in jeopardy its ewn territory and <br />shall provide that the party making such emergency run out of its own Municipal <br />limits shall bear all expenses in connection therewith. Such contract shall <br />be for a period not exceeding three (3) years and shall be terminable upon <br />thirty (30) daysf writicen notice. <br />Sec. 2. This ordinance is hereby,declared to be an emergency <br />measure, necessary for the im.mediate preservation of the public peace, <br />health, safety and welfare of the Vil.lage of Mayfield and its inhabitants, <br />in order to provide better f ire protection in case of emergency, and shall <br />go. into effect and be in foree from and after the date of its passage. <br />Fassed this 21st day of November, 1960. <br />-1-7????'?i? <br />?riayor - President of Council <br />Attest t <br />(s ) <br />~ ?
