ORDINANCE No. 736 By M r. Belzer AN ORDINANCE CONSENTING TO THE' MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF CERTAIN STREETS AND ROADS BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COT~IISSIONERS OF. CUYAHOGA COUNTY,, OHIO. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has tentatively approved a Maintenance and Repair program for the year 1961; and WHEREAS, a number of the roads to be maintained and repaired are Village Streets and also County Roads known by the following names and lying between the limits designated, viz: Road From To Highland SOM Center Road TqT. Line Mayfield Village Wilson Mills bander Road E. Line Mayfield Village White SOM Center Road W. Line Mayffield Village bander - S.Z,ine Mayf.Vill. Wilson Mills Road Ridgebury Blvd. - within Village of Mayfield Limits. WHEREAS, the maintenance and repair may include any or all of the following operations at the discretion of the County Engineer. 1. Repairing roadway berms. 2. Cleaning and repairing culverts and drainage systems. 3. Repairing and maintaining road surface. 4, Mowing weeds on berms. 5. Repairing and installing guard rail, 6. Installing and repairing road signs and warning signs. 7. Painting center lines and marking R.R. crossings. NOGT THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, STATE. OF OHIO,. THAT: Sec. 1. That it is declared to be of public interest that the consent of the Village by and such consent is hereby given to the maintenance and repair on the above mentioned highways between the termini aforesaid, by the Board of County Commissioners, Sec: 2. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency ordinance necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety; such necessity exists by reason of the fact that freezing and thawing action has created hazardous conditions on these roads, in consequence
