'~ v U7 d1., ~.., t~' L1~ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFTELD, OHIO, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: Sec. 1, There is hereby created, beginning as of June 1, 1961, the position of Clerk of the Service Department, who shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the consent of the .majority of members elected to Council, and may be removed at any time by an affirmative vote of the majority of members elected to Council, The Clerk of the Mayors Court of the Village of Mayfield shall, if appointed, be eligible to serve at the same time as Clerk of the Service Department of the Village of Mayfield, and to receive compensation for both positions, Sec. 2p The duties of the Clerk of the Service Department shall be to perform all required typing of forms, papers, documents, and records of the Service Department and to do whatever other secretarial work may be necessary. Sec. 3, The Clerk of the Service Department shall receive compensation at the rate of $35.00 per month, which compensation may be changed by Council at any time after January 1, 1962, and shall be entitled to two weeks vacation with pay in each calendar yearn Sec. 4. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order that proper personnel may be obtained to do the work of the Service Department, and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the date of its passage.
