ORDINANCE No, 738 <br />By Mr. Belzer <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIGTNG THE MAYOR AND THE CLERK <br />OF THE.VILLAGE OF bSAYFIELD., OHIO, TO ENTER INTO, <br />A CONTRACT. WITH THE GI7.'Y'Y_ OF UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS <br />FOR POLICE RADTO.CALL.SERVICE , <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF 1~IAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />' OHIO, ALL MEMBERS ELECTED THERETO,CONCURRING, THAT:. - <br />Sec. 1, The Mayor and the Clerk of the Village of Mayfield Ohio are <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the Village a contract <br />in writing with the City of University Heights, Ohio, establishing rates for <br />police radio call service for a period of two years commencing June 1, 1961, <br />' and ending May 31, 1963. Council hereby approves the form of contract <br />submitted to it by the City of University Heights, which, among other things, <br />! provides that the Village of Mayfield shall be charged $30.00 per month as <br />a flat rate, to include up to 100 broadcast calls, whether originating from <br />car or station, all broadcast calls in excess of 100 per month to be charged <br />and paid for at the rate of 10~ per call, monthly, Said agreement further <br />provides that all telephone calls made by the station at the request of cars <br />will be charged at the rate of 10~ per call, and that, if the Village of <br />Mayf field lists the City of University Heights' telephone number in the <br />telephone directory, a charge of $10,00 per month will be made for this <br />service, Said contract is subject to termination by either party upon 60 <br />days written notice to the other party. <br />Seca 2, There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund an amount <br />of money suff ieient to carry out the obligations of the Village of Mayfield <br />under said contract. <br />Sec. 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary f or the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and <br />safety of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, for the reason that <br />its immediate passage is necessary in order to continue radio call service, <br />and this Ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after the date of <br />its passage, <br />This Ordinance was passed on the 15th day of May, 1961q <br />Attest; <br />®r~~~.C~.t1i' ~/I.L~ c <br />Mayor - President of Council <br />.~ <br />S L) rk <br />
