<br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE No. 159, THE ZONING ORDINANCE
<br />OF THE VILLAGE OF NlAYFIELD, BY ADDING SECTION 7 (a,, IN-ORDER
<br />TO CLARIFY- TEIE PROVISIONS _AS. TO PAPIZING AND STORAGE OF
<br />CON7~2ERCIAL VEHICLES.TN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS,. AND TO PROHIBIT
<br />THE SAME, AND. TO PRESCRIBE PENALTIES.FOR.VIOLATION.OF_THIS...
<br />ORDINANCE.
<br />WHEREAS, under the present provision of the Zoning Ordinance of the
<br />Village of.M ayfield, only residential, farming and municipal uses are permitted
<br />in Class U-1, U-2, U-3 and U-3 AA use districts; and
<br />WEiEREAS, certain automobiles, trucks, tractors, semi-trailers and
<br />trailers have been and now are parked and kept on property in such districts,
<br />contrary to.,the purposes for which such regulations of the Zoning Ordinance
<br />pertaining to such use districts were established; and
<br />WEIEREAS, Council, while regarding the provisions of this ordinance to
<br />have been applicable prior to this date and now, desires to make it clear,
<br />beyond all doubt, that the parking and storage of .commercial vehicles in such
<br />use districts is not a proper residential use and is prohibited; and
<br />WHEREAS, Council finds that this amending ordinance has been submitted
<br />to the; ..Village Planning & Zoning Commission for approval, disapproval, or
<br />suggest,.ons, and that said Commission has allowed a reasonable time for consider-
<br />ation and report, and has approved the same in the form herein set forth, and
<br />that a public hearing has been had thereon, and notice of such hearing given in
<br />the manner provided by law.
<br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORllAINED_BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF D7AYFTEhD,
<br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO, THIN: _
<br />Sec. 1. Ordinance No. 159, the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
<br />Niayf field, Ohio, is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 7 (a), reading as
<br />followsa -
<br />"Sec. 7 (a). No person shall keep, park,
<br />kept, parked or, stored any motor vehicle, truck,
<br />or trailer in a U-~,U'=2:;:U-~,U-3 AA use district,
<br />automobiles or motorcycles not used for commerci
<br />manuf acturing purposes. This section shall not,
<br />following uses in said use districts;

<br />(1) Trucks malting bona fide deliveries to or pickups from the
<br />premises where they are parked, but only for so long a time as is
