WHEREAS, the Engineer.of the Village of Mayf field has obtained bids for surface treating. and patching of Ravine Drive; and ~ ~ , the bid of the Northern phio Paving Company, a qualified bidder, to perform said work for the sum of $550.00 i_s_ determined by Council to be the lowest and best bid submitted. . NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCII. OF THE VII~iGE OF MAYFIEI.D, CUYAROGA COUNTY GRIO , _ THAT d _ .. ~ ... . - : - -. _ .. ~ , - _ Sec. 1. All bids except that of the Northern Ohio Paving Company for patching and surf ace treating of Ravine Drive are hereby rejected. Sec. 2. The Mayor and the Clerk of the Village of Mayfield are hereby authorized t_o eater into a. contract on behalf of the Village with ttie Northern Ohio Paving Company for patching"and cuff ace treating of Ravine Drive, caith a double treatment, using RC-3 liquid asphalt and 6 lb. stone, for_the sum of $550.00, according to the bid submitted by the Northern Ohio. Paving Compatry. There is hereby appropriated from the Village Treasury the amount necessary For the work specified in said contract. . See. 3. This ordinance is deemed to be an emergency measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, saf ety and welf are of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, because of the necessity of repairing said highwap bef ore the cola weather sets in, and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the date of its passage as an emergency measure.
