ORDINANCE N0. 799 <br />By Mr. Belzer <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CONTRACT OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD; <br />OHIO, WITH THE CLEVELAND ELECTRIC ILLUMINATING COMPANY <br />RELATING TO STREET LIGHTING SERVICE, TO RATIFY AND CONFIRM <br />THE EXISTING CONTRACT IN ALL OTHER RESPECTS, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, this municipality has previously entered into a contract for <br />street lighting service with The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company <br />as authorized by Ordinance No. 746, passed on August 21, 1961; and <br />WHEREAS, it is hereby found that it will be necessary to amend and <br />modify said contract in certain respects; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY OHIO: <br />Sec. 1. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />ordinance in that it is necessary f or the immediate preservation of the public <br />peace, health aid safety and for the protection of pedestrian and vehicular <br />traffic. <br />Sec. 2, That said Contract authorized by Ordinance No. 746 be and the <br />same is hereby amended to provide that beginning January 1, 1963, and for the <br />remainder of the contract term thereafter, the class if ication and monthly rates <br />for the 7,700, 12,000, 23,000 and 60,500 lumen mercury vapor street lamps <br />shall be as follows: <br />I. Monthly rate per lamp <br />Lamp Size in Lumens <br />7,700 <br />12,000 <br />23,000 <br />60,500 <br />Rate Per Lamp <br />II. Monthly rate per "B installation transformer" <br />$ 4,63 <br />5,90 <br />7.50 <br />12,75 <br />Rate per "B installation transformer" $ 2.50 <br />A "B installation transformer" is defined as a single transformer <br />or arc tub which serves four or less street lights and no other <br />electrical load, <br />
