Mason <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AHEND SECTION 13-1 (e) OF ORDINANCE <br />N0. 86, THE BUILDING.CODE,,BY PROHIBITING THE USE <br />OF MARKED-UP DRAt~?INGS _ <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />Sec. 1, Section 13-1 (e) of Ordinance No. 86, the Building Code, <br />as amended by Ordinances Nos. 372 and 409 and any subsequent ordinances, <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Sec. 13-1 (e). All plans for new buildings or exterior <br />alterations must be submitted to the Board, together with a regis- <br />tration fee of $10.00, which shall be-collected by the Board and paid <br />to the Village Treasury, before the Board will make any review. No <br />building permit, shall be issued by the Building Inspector unless plans <br />and specifications shall have been first approved in writing by the <br />Board upon affirmative vote of a majority of the members present at a <br />meeting of the Board at which there is a quorum. <br />Plans must be submitted in triplicate, and shall include the <br />following: <br />1/Site and location plan, which shall show existing adjacent <br />finished grades and proposed finished grades relative to the <br />street grade ( note: The inclusion of sewer connection <br />elevations will facilitate action by the Board); 2/Basement <br />or Foundation plans; 3/All other floor plans; 4/ All <br />exterior elevations; 5/ Rough plan for flat roof structures; <br />6/ Sufficient scale details to define the character of the <br />design; 7/Location of garages and driveways on plot plan. <br />All drawings shall be shown at a definite scale as indicated <br />and shall be reproduced at the scale drawn. The drawings and <br />plans submitted shall be,drawn as the building is proposed to <br />be built. <br />A schedule of exterior materials, finish and colors must be <br />shown on the drawings submitted; samples of exterior materials may <br />be required. Plans for remodeling buildings which affect the exterior <br />appearance shall be accompanied by a drawing sufficient to show the <br />existing building or with photographs of existing building and <br />surroundings. <br />
