ENTER INTO A, CONTRACT WITH <br />THE NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION CONIPANY..FOR THE CONSTRUCTION <br />OF A SANITARY SEWER W17'H CURB. CONNECTIONS AND APPUR- <br />TENANCES,IN LANDER ROAD. WHEN. FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE OR <br />IN THE PROCESS OF COLLECTION _ _ _ <br /> <br />a <br />.~ <br />I~ <br />~~ <br />~~ <br />LET <br />O~ <br />L~ 1 <br />~b <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 818, the Clerk of the Village <br />of Mayfield, Ohio, duly advertised for bids according to law for the <br />construction of a sanitary sewer with curb connections and appurtenances <br />in the portion of bander Road hereinafter described; and <br />WHEREAS, the bid of the National Construction Co. in the amount of <br />$51,476_.25 is determined by Council to be the lowest and best bid submitted <br />by a duly qualified bidder> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED $Y THE COUNCIL OF THE VILZAGE OF <br />HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: .. _ ._ <br />Sec. 1. All bids except that of the National Construction Co. <br />for the construction and installation of a sanitary sewer with curb <br />connections and appurtenances in the street hereinaf ter described are <br />hereby rejected and the Clerk is authorized and directed to return to <br />all bidders except the National Construction Co. the certified checks <br />which accompanied their bids. <br />Sec. 2. The Mayor and Clerk of the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, <br />are hereby authorized to enter into a contract on behalf of said Village <br />with the National Construction Co. for the construction of a sanitary <br />sewer with curb connections and appurtenances in Zander Road in the <br />Village of Mayfield, Ohio, from the existing sanitary sewer in Wilson <br />Mills Road, Southerly to the Southerly corporation line of the Villages <br />of Mayfield and Highland Heights, for the total sum of $51,476.25, at <br />such time as the. necessary funds for that purpose are available or in <br />the process of collection. <br />Sec. 3. This ordinance is hereby deemed to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety <br />and welf are of the Village of Mayffield and its inhabitants because of the <br />necessity of providing an adequate sewer service to and thereby eliminating <br />existing hazards to the health of the inhabitants residing along said <br />improvement, and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from <br />., <br />w <br />~.~ d <br />
