ORDINANCE Nom 847 <br />By Mr. Shaw <br />AN ORDINANCE LEVYING SPECIAL ,ASSESSMENTS FOR THE <br />IMPROVEMENT OF SOM CENTE_R_ROAD IN THE VILLAGE. OF <br />HAYFIELD, OHIO, BET[~tEEN CERTAIN.TERMINI.BY THE <br />CONSTRUCTION.OF A WATER MAIN;_WITH CURB CONNECTIONS <br />AND APPURTENANCES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE V.LLI,AGE OF HAYFIELD, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA <br />STATE OF ..OHIO: ~ ~ - - .. . _ - . ~. <br />Sec, 1. That the Revised Assessment of the cost and expense of <br />improvement of SOi~I Center Road in the Village of Mayf field, Ohio, from the <br />end of the existing water main tahich terminates 1528 feet North of the <br />center line of Metro Par1c Drive, in a Northerly direction to the North <br />corporation line of the Village of Mayf field, by the construction of a 16" <br />cast iron water main, with curb connections and appurtenances, amounting, <br />in the aggregate to $51,521.50 , as reported to this Council on the 18th day <br />of Nlay, 1964, by the,Engineer of this Village, and now on file in the off ice <br />of the Cleric of this Council be, and the same is, hereby adopted and conf firmed <br />and that there be and hereby are levied and assessed upon the lots and lands <br />bounding and abutting upon said improvement the several amounts reported as <br />of oresaid, which assessments are in proportion to the special benefits and <br />are not_in excess of any statutory limitation, <br />Sec, 2, That this council hereby finds and determines that the revised <br />assessments as now on file in the off ice ef.said clerk are in the same proportion <br />to the estimated assessments as originally filed as the actual cost of the above <br />described improvement is to the estimated cost of the improvement as originally <br />filed, <br />Sec. 3. That the assessmer_t against each lot or parcel of land shall <br />be payable in cash within 30 days of ter the passage of this ordinance or at <br />•the option of the owner in ten annual installments with interest at the <br />same rate as shall be borne by the bonds to be issued in anticipation of <br />the collection of the same. All cash payments shall be made to the Treasurer <br />of this Village. A,11 assessments and installments thereof remaining. unpaid <br />at the expiration of said 30 days shall be certif ied by the Clerk of this <br />Council to the County Auditor as provided by law to be placed by him on the <br />tax duplicate and collected as other taxes are collected. <br />Sec. 4, That the Clerk of this Council shall cause a notice of passage <br />of this ordinance to be published once in a newspaper of general circulation <br />in this Village and to continue on file in his off ice said revised assessments, <br />
