RESOLUTION N0. 86- 38 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen & Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING S.S. CONSTRUCTION TO BE THE <br />LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR THE REPLACEMENT AND <br />REPAIR OF THE S.O.M. CENTER ROAD CULV ERT, <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO <br />ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH SAID BIDDER I11T AN <br />AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY ONE THOUSAND FORTY NINE <br />DOLLARS ($51,049.00), REJ ECTING A,LL OTHER BIDS <br />RECEIV ED AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLP,GE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. In accordance with bids received pursuant to <br />advertisement as required by law, S.S. Construction is hereby declared <br />to be the lowest and best bidc7er for the replacement and repair of the <br />S.O.M. Center Road culvert. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and Director of Finance are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract-with S.S. Construc- <br />tion in an amount not to exceec7 Fifty One Thousand Forty Nine Dollars <br />($51,049.00) for the aforesaid project provided that said contract is <br />in accordance with the specifications upon which the bid was receivede <br />Section 3. All other bids received are hereby rejectede <br />Secti.on 4. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />f ormal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revisec3 Codeo <br />Section 5.
