Carmen & Council as a Whole <br />i <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 4 OF <br />RESOLUTION 85-6 ESTABLISHING TERMS, <br />CONDITIONS AND COMPENSATION FOR THE <br />SERVICES OF THE DIRECTOR OF <br />FINANCE, REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS <br />INCONSISTENT THEREWITH, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Section 4 of Resolution No. 85-6 is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: (Deleted material appears like <br />thus and new material appears like THIS) <br />Section 4. As Finance Director Steven Toth shall <br />be compensated at the rate of S~~t®en-Tkao~asax~d-Ri~g_H~Ad~ed--- <br />DCtI-~a~s-E-~~6~~5.4a=Q4•~-SEVENTEEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED ONE <br />DOLLARS AND TW ENTY FIVE CENTS ($17,201.25) per calendar year <br />during the term of this contract which amount shall be paid <br />in equal monthly installments due on the first day of each month. <br />THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE SHALL FURTHERMORE BE COMPENSATED AT <br />THE RATE OF TWENTY DOLLARS ($20.00) PER HOUR, NOT TO EXCEED <br />THE TOTAL SUPT OF ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000.00) IN ANY <br />CALENDAR YEAR, FOR ALL SERVICES RENDERED IN EXCESS OF THOSE <br />DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SET FORTH HEREINABOVE. <br />Section 2. All prior resolutions inconsistent with this <br />resolution in whole or in part are repealed to the extent necessary to <br />avoid conflict with this resolution. <br />Section 3. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compli- <br />ance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of <br />Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 4. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, <br />for the reason that it provides for the continued administration of <br />the Finance Department, a function mandated by Charter. It shall <br />therefore take effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote <br />of not less than four (4) members elected to Council and approval by <br />
