RESOLUTION N0. 85- 55 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole -~ i A RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 4 OF RESOLUTION N0. 85-3 ESTABLISHING TERMS, CONDITIONS AND COMPENSATION FOR THE SERVICES OF THE DIRECTOR OF LAW, REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS INCONSISTENT THEREWITH AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: Section 1. Section 4 of Resolution No. 85-3 is hereby amended to read as follows: (Deleted material appears like #~i~~e and new material appears like THIS) Section 4. Effective January 1, 1985, and retroactive thereof, the charges to the municipality for services to be rendered by the Director of Law shall be as follows: (a) For attendance at regular Council meetings, Council Caucuses, and the regular meeting of the Planning Commission, plus such other meetings of Boards, Commissions, and Council at which the attendance of the Law Director is requested, not to exceed four (4) meetings per month, as well as routine oral conferences by telephone or at the Village Hall or in the office of the Law Director with the Mayor or Members of Council, together with preparation of all Ordinances, Resolutions and proclamations, as well as the preparation of opinions requiring incidental and minimal research, a monthly retainer of Nom-ire--Htt~rc~~ed--S-€~~~-~Do-~la~~-aa~~}x~~ S~~~e~~--f~~~:g~ NINE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY THREE DOLLARS AND NINETY FIVE CENTS (5973.95) per calendar month, payable in advance, on the first day of each month. (b) For all of the services requested or authorized and not specifically set forth in subsection (a) hereof, a charge of ~r€~~--~€~a~~s~~-a-~s-~~5.57-0~~ FIFTY EIGHT DOLLARS AND FORTY THREE CENTS ( $58.43 ) per hour, subject to a maximum of Fot~~ Hu~~e~-~o~~~-Be~3~r~s--(-5-448:-00 FOUR HUNDRED AND SIXTY SEVEN DOLLARS AND FORTY FOUR CENTS (5467.44) f or any one calendar day. (c) Reimbursement of actual out-of-pocket expenses reasonably and necessarily incurred in the conduct of Village business documented in the fashion required by the Internal Revenue Service of the United States of America for tax deductible business expenses. Section 2. All prior resolutions inconsistent with this resolution in whole or in part are repealed to the extent necessary to avoid conflict with this resolution.
