11 <br />RESOLUTION NOe 84-1 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Nlayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />-"? A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO <br />VINCE J. BUSA. <br />WHEREASo VINCE J. BUSA, on December 31, 1983, completed 17 <br />years of near continuous service as an elected official of Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio; and <br />WHEREAS, VINCE J. BUSA has served as Mayor of the Village <br />from 1968 through 1971; and <br />WAEREAS, VINCE J. BUSA has served as a Councilman for the <br />Village froan 1966 through 1967, from 1976 through 1979 and, most <br />recently, from July, 1980 through 1983; and <br />WHEREAS, VINCE J> BUSA has served, during his tenure on <br />Council, as Council President and Council President Pro Tem; as <br />Council Representative to the Hillcrest Council of Councils, the <br />Planning & Zoning Commission, the Commission on Aging and the <br />Fireman's Dependerats Fund; as Chairman of the Metro Parks Commission, <br />the Cemetery Committee and the Public Service and Public Utilities <br />Committee; and he has served as a member of both the Safety and <br />Service and Finance Committees; and <br />? WHEREAS, VINCE J. BUSA has distinguished himself by his <br />_ faithful and devoted service to the residents of Mayfield Village; and <br />WHEREAS, VINCE J. BUSA should not be allowed to leave the <br />service of the municipality without an expression of the appreciation <br />which he rightfully deserves; now, therefore, <br />BE 1T RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, <br />Ohio for themselves and on behalf of the entire administration, <br />employees and residents of the municipality, express their deep <br />appreciation and thanks to VINCE J. BUSA for his faithful anc] devoted <br />service as an elected official of Mayfield Village. <br />Section ?_. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and <br />directec3 to prepare duplicate original copies of this Resolutiono One <br />such original shall be presented to VINCE J. BUSA as a small token of <br />the esteem in which he is held by the residents, officials, staff <br />members and employees of Mayfield Village, Ohioe The other original <br />shall be placed in the permanent records of the Village as a lasting <br />tribute to VINCE J.
