RESOLUTION N0. 84- 7. `.:-__ <br />INTRODUCED BY; Mayor.Carmen & Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT'TO <br />CLEVELAND TRINIDAD PAVING C0. IN AN <br />AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SIXTY F1V E <br />THOUSAND,TWO HUNDRED NINETY FIVE <br />DOLLARS ($65,295.00) FOR THE RECON- <br />STRUCTION AND PAV ING OF BEECH HILL <br />ROAD AND DECLARING P,N EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREP,S, the Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, has recently <br />adoptec] Resoluti'on No. 83-7 declaring the necessity of improving Beech <br />Hill Road by having it reconstructed and paved; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, has further <br />authorized the Clerk of Council to advertise in a newspaper of general <br />circulation for bids for the af orementioned project based upon the <br />plans and specifications prepared by the Village Engineer and approved <br />by the Council; and <br />WHEREAS, said bids have been received by the Clerk of <br />Council in accordance with the terms and conditions of the advertise- <br />ment for same; and <br />WHEREP,S, the Council has determined that Clevelancl Trinidad <br />Paving Coo is the lowest and best bidder for the aforementioned <br />project; now, theref ore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1 Cleveland Trinidad Paving Co. is hereby <br />declared to be the lowest and best bidder for the reconstruction and <br />paving of.Beech Hill Road. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and Director of Finance are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Cleveland <br />Trinidad Paving Co. in an amount not to exceed Sixty Five Thousand Two <br />Hundred Ninety Five Dollars ($65,295.00) for the reconstruction and <br />paving of Be,ech Hill Road provided that such contract is conditioned <br />upon compliance by the contractor with all of the terms and conditions <br />of the plans and specifications referred to hereinabove. <br />Section 3, A11 other bids received are hereby rejected. <br />Section 4 That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this . <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; anc3 that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such
