RESOLUTION N0. 84-10 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen & Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLU^lION URGING THE VOTERS OF CUYAHOGA <br />COUNTY TO PASS THE BALLOT ISSUE TO COINSTRUCT <br />A DOMED STADIUM IN CLEVELANDm <br />WHEREAS, the Mayl8, 1984 primary election includes a ballot <br />issue on the construction qf a domed stadium in Cleveland; and <br />WHEREAS, the Maya'?r and Council of Mayfield Village have <br />determind that the propose ? domed stadium will not only enhance the <br />economic opportunities for the Cuyahoga County work force but will <br />also be a major step in the revitalization of downtown Cleveland; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, <br />have further determined tha?t it is in the best interests of all of the <br />residents of Cuyahoga County to pass the ballot issue authorizing the <br />construction of a domed stadium; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNC?L OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section l. The M'ayor and Council of Mayfield Village, <br />Ohio, urge all of the voters in Cuyahoga County to pass the ballot <br />issue authorizing the construction of a domed stadium. <br />Section 2. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the Build <br />the Dome Committee along with instructions authorizing that Committee <br />to use the endorsement in tliis Resolution in its campaign to pass the <br />subject ballot issue. <br />Section 3 This Resolution shall take effect at the <br />earliest time allowed by la . <br />Richard C.
