1. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 83-12 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Beebe & Council as a Wnole <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AN ASSESS- <br />MENT EQUALIZATION BOARD TO HEAR <br />OBJECTIONS TO ESTIMATED ASSESSMENTS <br />WITH RESPECT TO TH E IMPROVEMENT OF <br />BEECH HILL ROAD BY HAVING IT RECON- <br />STRUCTED AND PAV ED AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of Mayfield Village did, on March 21, <br />1983, duly adopt Resolution 83-7, declaring the necessity of improving <br />Beech Hill Road by having it reconstructed and repaved; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution the estimated assess- <br />ments for said improvement have been prepared and placed on file in <br />the office of the Clerk of this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, notice of the passage of said Resolution and the <br />filing of the said estimated assessments has been duly served upon all <br />property owners to be assessed in the manner provided by law; and <br />WHEREAS, written objections to said estimated assessments <br />have been tiled by one or more such property owners; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY '1'HE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Santo. Basile, Harold Rass.au,. and Benjamin Reich, <br />three (3) disinterested freeholders of Mayfield Village, be and the <br />same hereby are appointed as an Assessment Equalization Board to hear <br />and aetermine all written objections filed in accordance with law to <br />the estimated ,assessments heretofore filed with the Clerk of this <br />Council pursuant to Resolution No. 83-7. Said Board is hereby <br />authorized and directed to equalize such assessments as it deems <br />proper to conform to the standards prescribed by said Resolution 83-7 <br />and by law. <br />Section 2. The Assessment Equalization Board shall meet <br />at 8:30 .o'clock P.M. on the 2nd day of _ June 1983, <br />at the Mayfield Village Hall, Council Chambers, 6621 Wilson Mills <br />Road, Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the purposes as aforesaid and upon <br />completion of such hearing and any adjournments thereof, shall report <br />its recommendations, including any changes which should be made in the <br />estimated assessments, to this Council. <br />
