BRAUN <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO PROCEED TO SUBPIT THE <br />QUESTION OF THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS OF THE VILLAGE <br />OF MAYFIELD FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING RECREATIONAL <br />FACILITIES FOR THE VILLAGr, INCLUDING ACQUISITION <br />OF THE SITE WHEREOF, AND COiJSTRUCTION AIQD EQUIPMENT <br />OF SWIiH1KING, TENNIS, BASEBALL Ai\D SOFTBALL, BASKETBALL, <br />SKATIVG AND OTIiEP. RECREATIONAL FACILITIES FOR ADULTS <br />AND JWENILES, AND CERTIFYING THE SAME TO THE fiOARD <br />OF ELECTIONS OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO# UNDER AUTHORITY <br />OF OHIO REVISED CODE, SECTION 133.09• <br />14HEREAS, this Council on the 17th day of July, 1972, duly adopted <br />Resolution No. 819, providing for the submission to the electors of this <br />Village of the question of issuing $420,000.00 of bonds for the purpose of <br />providing recreational facilities for the Village, including acquisition of <br />the site whereof, an.d construction and equipment of swimming, tennis, baseball, <br />and softball, basketball, skating and other recreational facilities for adults <br />and juveniles and of levying a tax to provide for their payment at the oenera,l <br />election to be held on the 7th day of November, 1972, and <br />WHEREAS, the Auditor of Cuyahoga County has certified to this <br />Council that the average annual levy throughout the life of such bonds, which <br />would be required to pay the interest on and to retire the same, assuming that <br />they are all issued in one series anci that the am.ount of the tax list of this <br />Villabe remains throughout the life of the bond the same as the tax list of <br />the current year, is 2.005 mills for each dollar va]:uation, which amounts to <br />20.05 cents for.eaeh One Hunclred Dollars valuation. <br />N014, THEREFORE, Be It Resolved By the Council of tne Village of <br />Mayfield, County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That this Council determines to proceed with the issuance <br />of said bonds and the Clerk-Treasurer is hereby directed to certify to the <br />Board of Elections of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, Resolution No. 819 aforesaid calling <br />such election together with a copy of this Resolution, the amount of the <br />average annual tax levy as estimateci by ttie County Auditor, and the maximum <br />number of years to retire said bonds, namely 20 years, to give notice of said <br />election, and to prepare the necessary ballots and supplies therefor. <br />Section 2.
