RESOLUTION NO. 855 <br />Introduced by Council as a Whole <br />_ RESOLUTION OF CONDOLENCE ON <br />DEATH OF LEONARD J. FRIEDEL <br />WHEREAS, it is with deep regret that this Council <br />has learned of the death of Leonard J. Friedel, and <br />WHEREAS, Leonard J. Friedel has served the people <br />of the Village of Mayfield as a member of the Volunteer Fire <br />Department for a period of fifteen years, and <br />LaHEREAS, his exemplary conduct and dedication to <br />service earned the respect of the members of the Volunteer Fire <br />Department, and <br />WHEREAS, his death occurred while in the emergency <br />service and rendering aid to a resident of the Village of <br />Mayfield, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council wishes to express and record <br />its sympathy and regret at the untimely passing of Leonard J. <br />Friedel; NOW THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED that this Council honors the memory <br />of Leonard J. Friedel and extends its sympathy to his widow, <br />Mrs. Pearl Friedel, and members of the family, and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk-Treasurer be <br />and he is hereby requested to transmit a copy of this Resolution <br />to Mrs. Pearl Friedel and her familyo <br />- PRESIDENT OF COUNGIL
