RESOLUTION N0. 856 <br />Introduced by: ColAT1Ci1 a.S a WhOI.e <br />A RESOLUTION MEMORIALIZING THE OHIO GENERAL <br />ASSEMBLY TO ADOPT HOUSE BILL NUMBER 1113. <br />WIiEREAS, the Council of the Village of PZayfield has been advised that <br />the Ohio General Assembly has under consideration House Bill Number 11139 <br />which implements the Home Rule provisions of the Ohio Constitution by restoring <br />local control over the siting of power plants and power lines; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the Village of Mayfield deems such legislation <br />to be vitally necessary and in the best interests of the citizens of this <br />community and other municipalities of the Stata of Ohio; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUPdCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section l. That the Ohio Genaral Assembly and all the members thereof <br />be and the same hereby are requested to vote for and adopt House Bill Number <br />1113, which would implement municipal zoning and restore police powers. <br />Section 2. That the Clerk-Treasurer certify copies af this Resolution <br />to the State Representatives for Cuyahoga Countyg the State Senators for <br />Cuyahoga County, and the C1erk of each House of the General Assembly. <br />Section 3.
