RESOLUTION N0. 857 <br />Introduced by: Mr. Prager <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE COUNTY AUDITOR TO ADVANCE <br />TO THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD CURRENT TAX COLLECTIONS <br />WHEREAS, the balance in the General Fund of the Village of Mayfield has <br />declined to the point where it will be impossible to meet the Village payroll <br />and to pay its bills for the month of March, 1974; and <br />WHEREAS, sufficient funds have been collected by the County of Cuyahoga <br />from the taxpayers of the Village of Mayfield to cover the March payroll and pay <br />the March expenses; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD, <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section l. 'The County Auditor of Cuyahoga County is hereby requested <br />to advance to the Village of Mayfield, out of the current tax collections, funds, <br />to be used for general fund purposes. <br />Section 2. The Clerk-Treasurer is hereby authorized to file a certified <br />copy of this Resolution with the County Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />Section 3. This Resolution is hereby deemed to be an emergency <br />measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, <br />safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order that <br />the Village may pay its obligations and keep its credit good, and this Resolution <br />shall be in force and effect immediately upon the date of its adoption. <br />Adopted this 18th day of February, 1974. <br />ATTEST:
