TOo The Mayor, <br />" Members of Council and <br />Clerk-Treasurer of the <br />Village of Mayfield, Ohio <br />8 July, 1974 <br />SUBJECTS: Resolution No. 862, dated 20 May, 1974 <br />Resolution No. 864, dated 17 June, 1974 <br />Record of Estimated Costs for Assessmen,t, dated 20 May, 1974 <br />REFORT: We three, disinterested freeholders of the Village of Mayfield, namely <br />Ruth Czillis, Roy Jones and Vince J. Busa, having been duly appointed by <br />the Mayor and Council to serve as an Assessment Equalization Board to <br />hear and determine ar?y and all objections filed in accordan.ce with law <br />to the estimated assessments heretofor filed with the Clerk-Treasurer of <br />this Village persuant to Resolution No. 862 of the Council and authorized <br />and directed to equalize such assessments and/or make recommendations to <br />Council as it determines proper to conform to the standards prescribed by <br />said Resolution No. 862, and by law, do make the following determin.ation <br />and report. <br />a. 'I`he Board as a whole, met in the chambers of the Village Hall on 25 June,1974 <br />and heard all claims and objections on record. <br />b. The Board as a whole, again met on site at Echo Drive on 26 June, 1974 and <br />did walk the entire length of Echo Drive and also a large portion of lots, <br />plots an.d terrain in question. The two objectors on record accompanied the <br />Board individually and were very helpful and co-operative. <br />c. The Board as a whole, again and finally met in the chambers of the Village <br />Hall on 3 July, 1974 with the Village Engineer for the purpose of clarif'ying <br />and answering ar?y and a11 questions the Board members may have had. <br />SUMMARY: The Board as a whole, can offer no suggestions to improve, change or alter <br />in any way, the proposed Estimated Costs for Assessments with respect to <br />the improvement of Echo Drive by the installation of an eight-in,ch water <br />main,, hydrants, and all necessary eppurtenances thereto. <br />CONCLUSSION: <br />The Assessment Equalization Board unanimously agrees an.d respectflzlly <br />recomends to Council their acceptance and approval of the Record of <br />Estimated Costs for Assessmenty dated 20 May, ly749 as submitted and <br />proposed by the Village Engineer in the best interest of all parties <br />concerned and for the health9 safety and general welfare of the residents <br />of Echo Drive. <br />Respectfully submitted: ? <br />• ?
