RESOLUTION N0. 869 <br />. Introduced by: Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION URGING APPROVAL OF PROPOSED EXPANSION <br />OF HILLCREST HOSPITAL <br />WHEREAS, the residents of this Village desire the availability of a more <br />readily accessible facility for medical, nursing and emergency room care; and <br />WHEREAS, Hillcrest Hospital is present.ly unable to adequately service the <br />requirements of the residents of this Community f or health care needs; and <br />WHEREAS, Hillcrest Hospital has requested approval by the Metropolitan <br />Health Planning Corporation of a plan to expand its facilities; and <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interests of the residents of this <br />Community that said request be granted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD, <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THATa <br />Section l. The Council endorses the desire of Hillcrest Hospital to expand <br />its facility and urges the Metropolitan Health Planning Corporation to approve the <br />application of Hillcrest Hospital in order to improve health care services in the <br />area to be served by the Hospital. <br />Adoped this 18th day of November , 1974. <br />ATTEST: <br />(Seal)' Clerk-Treasurer <br />?,
