Resolution No. 955 <br />Introduced by: Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT THE BID OF <br />BRECKSVILLE ASPHALT PAVING, INC. <br />IS THE LOWEST AND BEST BID FOR THE IMPROVEMENT <br />OF BEECH HTLL ROAD NORTHERLY FROM ITS INTER- <br />SECTION WITH SENECA DRIVE, A DISTANCE OF <br />APPROXIMATELY 675 FEET, BY THE PAVING THEREOF, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE,OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. It is hereby determined that the bid of Brecksville Asphalt Paving <br />for the improvement of Beech Hill Road northerly from its intersection with Seneca <br />Drive, a distance of approximately 675 feet, by the paving thereof, is the lowest and <br />best bid received after advertising in accordance with the Charter. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and the Finance Director be and they are hereby authorized <br />and directed to enter into a contract with Brecksville Asphalt Paving,Incin accordance <br />with plans and specifications upon which such bid was received. <br />Section 3. Council declares this to be an emergency Resolution necessary for <br />the preservation of the public health, peace, safety and welfare of the Village and <br />its inhabitants, such emergency arising out of the necessity to correct pavement <br />problems and facilitate the safe movement of motor vehicles; wherefore, this Resolution <br />shall be in full force from and after its pass? an appr al byMayor. <br />Passede5ept. 2, 1976 <br />[r <br />OF COUNCIL <br />Attest:
