Resolution No. 9?6:9 <br />Introduced by: Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE LOWEST AND BEST <br />BID FOR COMPREHENSIVE GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section l. It is hereby determined that the bid of Love Insurance Agency <br />for comprehensive general liability insurance is the lowest and best bid received after <br />advertising in accordance with the Charter. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and Finance Director be and they are hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into a contract with Love Insurance Agency for the purchase of compre- <br />hensive general liability insurance in accordance with specifics upon which the bid was <br />received. The cost of such insurance coverage shall be payable out of funds appro- <br />priated by Council which shall not exceed $8,440.00. <br />Section 3. Council declares this to be an emergency Resolution necessary for <br />the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety, such emergency <br />arising out of the necessity to provide insurance coverage for the Village; wherefore, <br />this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. <br />Passed: November 15, 1976. <br />Attest: <br />? <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />App rove'3 ?//_ <br />, ?..: <br />MAYOR-
