Resolution No. 972 <br />Introduced by: Mr. Busa <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION MEMORALIZING RICHARD D. <br />JACKSON, DIRECTOR, OHIO DEPARTMENT OF TRAPdSPORTATION, <br />TO CAUSE THE IMPROVEMENT OF A PORTION OF OHIO ROUTE <br />91 (SOM CENTER ROAD) FROM ITS INTERSECTION WITH WHITE <br />ROAD TO SANDALWOOD DRIVE, A DISTANCE OF APPROXIMATELY <br />TWO MILES, FROM A TWO-LANE TO A FOUR-LANE ROADWAY <br />WHEREAS, this Resolution constitutes an emerege.ncy measure providing for <br />and urging the establishment of the highest priority for the improvement of that <br />portion of Ohio State Route 91 within Mayfield Village, Ohio from a two-lane to a <br />four-lane roadway for a distance of approximately two miles; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Richard D. Jackson, Director, Ohio Department of Transportation, <br />be and he is hereby memorialized to cause appropriate action for relief and aid in <br />the elimination of an existing bottleneck of that portion of Ohio State Route 91, <br />located within Mayfield Village, Ohio, by widening the roadway from two lanes to <br />four lanes, a distance of approximately two miles. <br />Section 2. The Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed to transmit <br />a copy of this Resolution to Richard D. Jackson, Director, Ohio Department of <br />Transportation. <br />Section 3.
