RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT THE BID OF <br />The Horvitz Company <br />S THE LOWEST AND BEST BID FOR THE IMPROVE- <br />[ENT OF MEADOWOOD DRIVE AND EASTGATE DRIVE <br />Y RESURFACING WITH ASPHALT, AND DECLARING <br />N EMERGENCY <br />Section 1. t is hereby determined that the bid of <br />for the improvement I?f Meadowood Drive and Eastgate Drive by the resurfacing with <br />asphalt is the lowesi and best bid received after advertising in accordance with.the <br />Charter. <br />Section 2. fihe Mayor and Finance Director be and they are hereby authorized <br />to enter into a contzact with in accordance with plans <br />and specifications upon which such bid was received. <br />Section 3. Council declares this to be an emergency Resolution necessary for <br />the preservation of I he public health, peace, safety and welfare of the Village and <br />its inhabitants, suc1i emergency arising out of the necessity to correct paving pro- <br />blems and facilitate the safe movement of motor vehicles; wherefore, this Resolution <br />shall be in full force from and after its passage_and approval by the Mayor. <br />Adopted: May 16, <br />Attest; <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL l <br />1977 <br />
