Resolution No. 1002 <br />Introduced by: Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDERS <br />TENDERED FOR THE PURCHASE OF A 1978 TRUCK CAB AND CHASSIS <br />AND FOR A SNOW PLOW AND SALT SPREADER, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. It is hereby determined that the bid of Lake Truck S11eS & S2rviCe <br />for a 1978 truck cab and chassis is the lowest and best bid received after advertising <br />in accordance with the Charter. <br />Section 2. It is hereby determined that the bid of Ea.r1 IVE:S EGjU1.pT?1G11t CO. <br />for a snow plow and salt spreader is the lowest and best bid received after advertising <br />in accordance with the Charter. <br />Section 3. The Mayor and Finance Director be and they are hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into contracts with each of said bidders in accordance with the speci- <br />fications upon which such bids were received. <br />Section 4. Council declares this to be an emergency resolution necessary for the <br />preservation of the public health, peace, safety and welfare of the Village and its <br />inhabitants, such emergency arising out of the necessity to provide equipment to <br />maintain the roadways during the winter months and provide for the safe movement of <br />vehicular traffic; wherefore, this resolution shall be in full force and effect from <br />Approvle : /j <br />?- <br />; `\.`` ? <br />??
