RESOLUTION No. 559 <br />By_Mr, Wedler <br />Seconded by Mr. Belzer <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING IT NECESSARY TO IMPROVE SOM <br />CENTER-.ROAD IN THE VILLAGE OF ~AYFIELD,_OHIO, FROM <br />THE. IIJD OF ., THE EXISTING ~+7ATER MAIN ,. WHICH TERMINATES <br />1528 FEET NORTH OF THE ,CENTER DINE OF.METRO PA_R1C, <br />DRIVE, IN A NORTHERLY DIRECTION.TO THE NORTH <br />CORPORATION LINE. OF THE.VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD BY THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF A WATER MAIN AND APPURTENANCES , <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA <br />AND-STATE OF OHIO,.THREE-FOURTHS OF ALL MEMBERS ELECTED_THERETO CONCURRING: <br />Sec. 1. It is necessary to improve SOM Center Road in the Village of <br />Mayfield, Ohio, from the end of the existing water main, which terminates <br />1528 feet North of the center line of Metro Park Drive, in a Northerly,- _ <br />direction to the North corporation limit of the Village of Mayf field, by - <br />the construction of:a 16" cast iron water main, with curb connections and <br />appurtenances, as shown on the plans hereinafter ref erred to, prepared by <br />the Village Engineer. <br />Sec. 2, It is hereby determined and declared that said improvemen '~-~--~ <br />is conducive to the public health, convenience and welfare of said Village <br />and the inhabitants thereof. <br />Sec. 3. That the grade of said street and improvement shall be the <br />grade as shown by the Engineerts Plans and Prof Iles, which are made a part <br />hereof. <br />Sec. 4. That the Plans, spec if ications, estimates and prof files of <br />the proposed improvement, heretofore prepared by the Engineer and now on <br />file in the off ice of the Clerk of this Council, are hereby approved. <br />Sec. 5. That 71% of the cost of the water main and appurtenances <br />and the whole cost of the curb connections shall be assessed in proportion <br />to the benef its which may result from the improvement upon the following <br />described lots and lands, to-eitm <br />,All lots and lands bounding and abutting upon the <br />proposed improvement between the termini aforesaid, <br />which said lots and lands are hereby determined to be specially benefitted <br />by said improvement; and the cost of said improvement shall include the <br />cost of preliminary and other surveys, plans, specif ications, prof files and <br />estimates, and of printing, serving and publishing nd~tices, resolutions, <br />and ordinances, the amount of damages resulting from the improvement assessed <br />in favor of any owner of land affected by the improvement and the interest <br />
