RESOLUTION No. 562 <br />By rir. Mason <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE NECESSITY OF CONSTRUCTING <br />SIDEWALKS. ON THE NORTH AND SOUTH SIDES..OF WILSON,NIILLS <br />ROAD BETWEEN CERTAIN, TERMINI„I,N THE VILIAGE_OF _._. <br />HAYFIELD, REQUIRING THAT PROPERTY. OWNERS_CODISTRUCT <br />.. _. _ -. <br />TEIE, .SAME , AND ,. DECLARING AN EMERGENCY . , _ <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VIZLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />OHIO, THAT: .. .__ _ ..-~ .. <br />Sec. 1. It is necessary to construct sidewalks in the Village of <br />Mayf field., Ohio, in accordance with the plans, specif ications and estimate <br />of cost heretofore prepared by the Village Engineer and now on file in the <br />off ice of the Clerk and in the following location: ' <br />On the North side of Wilson Mi11s Road from the center of <br />State Route 1, also known as the Freeway, in an Easterly <br />direction to the Westerly line of,SOM Center Road, and on <br />the South side of Wilson Mills Road from the Westerly <br />corporate line of the Village of Mayf field in an Easterly <br />direction to the Westerly line of SOM Center Road. <br />Sec. 2. The owners of all lots and lands bounding and abutting upon <br />the proposed sidewalks shall construct in accordance with the plans and <br />specif ications now on file, the portions of such sidewalks abutting on their <br />respective properties within a period of 45 days after the service of notice <br />of passage of this Resolution; and, if such construction shall not be <br />completed within such period of 45 days, then this Council shall have the <br />same done and the entire cost thereof shall be assessed upon the property of <br />each defaulting owner and made a lien thereon, to be collected in the manner <br />provided by lace; with penalty and interest as provided by law. <br />Sec. 3. The Clerk is directed to cause a written notice of the <br />adoption of this Resolution to be served as required by law. <br />Sec. 4. The plans, specif ications and estimate of cost for said <br />construction as,heretof ore filed are hereby approved. <br />Sec. 5. This resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and <br />safety, and for the further reason that the immediate construction of such <br />sidewalks is urgently required to permit safe passage by persons using said <br />street and to eliminate existing hazards to pedestrians, and this resolution <br />shall be in force and effect from and after the date of its adoption. <br />OAdopted this 20th day of May, 1963, <7~~~~ <br />/' 6 <br />Attest. ,,~~e° ,liL~, ~~`~~~ <br />r ~.~ _~. <br />` Mayor - President of Council <br />~. ! r <br />"L i; <br />( S L) ____-- ~..-_ G Jerk <br />
