Carmen & the Entire Council <br />A RFSOLUTION <br />?UTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND PRL+SIDSNT OF COUNCIL <br />TO ENTSR INTO AN A!ENDSD AGRSShM WITH <br />HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Offi0, FOR JOINT MAINTffiNANCB <br />OF THE TRANSYT TRAPFIC CONTROL SYST&M ON <br />WILSON MILLS ROAD AND DECLARING AN EHMGENCY <br />WHSRBAS, the Council of May£ield Village, Ohio, adopted Resolution <br />No. 87-28 on April 20, 1987, authorizing the Mayor and President of Council <br />to enter into an agreement with Highland Heights, Ohio, for joint maintenance <br />of the TRAC traffic control system on Wilson Mills Road; and <br />WEERF.AS, the said Agreement with Highland Heights was executed on <br />April 20, 1987; and <br />{BERRFAS, in conjunction with the reconstruction and repavement of Wilson <br />Mills Road, the Cuyahoga County Engineer has advised the Village that, if the <br />appropriate changes are made in the aforementioned Agreement with the consent <br />of both municipalities, the County will cause to be installed a new tra£fic <br />control system that will improve traffic control on Wilson Mills Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have determined that the installation <br />of the new traffic control system will benefit the municipality by improved <br />tra£fic control; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SHCTION 1. The Mayor and President of Council are hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into an amended agreement with Highland Heights, Ohio, for <br />the joint maintenance of the transyt traffic control system to be installed on <br />Wilson Mills Road in conjunction with the Wilson Mills reconstruction project, <br />a copy of said amended Agreement being attached hereto and incorporated herein <br />as i£ fully rewritten. <br />SECPION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of <br />this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at <br />open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of <br />its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
