RESOLUTION N0. 88- 49 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen & Council as a Whole <br />A RFSOLUTION <br />URGING THE ELECTORATS OF THE BI.T.c:RRST AREA <br />TO VOTS "YFS" ON ISSUE 46 AUTHORIZING A <br />5.5 MILL BOAID ISSUE FOR PURPOSES OF <br />GSIQSRAI. SCHOOL OPSRATION OF THB <br />MAYFIffi.D SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, Issue 46 will appear on the ballot at the General Election to be <br />held on November 8, 1988; and <br />WHEREAS, Issue 46 is a 5.5 Mill Bond Issue for purposes of general school <br />operation of the Mayfield School District; and <br />WHERFAG, the cost of the Bond Issue to the average homeowner ($90,500.00) <br />value) will be Thirty-Four Cents ($.34) per day; and <br />WffitBAS, the Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, have determined <br />that the cost of the Bond Issue is reasonable and that the passage of same <br />will greatly benefit the students of the Mayfield School District and the <br />community in general; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor and Council of May£ield Village, Ohio, hereby urge <br />the electorate of the Hillcrest Area to vote "Yes" on Issue 46 authorizing a <br />5.5 Mill Bond Issue for purposes of general school operation of the Mayfield <br />School District. <br />SECTION 2. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to <br />forward a copy of this Resolution to the Clerks of Councils for all commu- <br />nities in the Hillcrest Area and to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, News Herald <br />and the Sun Newspapers. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of <br />this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at <br />open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of <br />its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
