RESOLUTION N0. 88- 50 <br />INTRODUCED BY: ttAYOR CARMEN AND COUNCIL AS A WHOLE. <br />A RFSOLUTION <br />GRANTING A 5' VARIANCE TO THL <br />PROGRESSIVS INSURANCE COMPANY FOR THS <br />CANSTRUCTION OF SUILDINGS ON CERTAIId PROPSRTY <br />LOCATSD AT 6300 WILSON MILIeS ROAD, SUBJECT TO <br />THII SATISFACTION OF CONDITIONS STATSD BY THE <br />VILLAGE ENGINEER Ild A LETTER DATED SEPTSriBSR 12, 1988, <br />AND DECLARIIdG AN ffiM GSNCY <br />WHSRBAS, Progressive Insurance Company has requested a five (5) £oot <br />height variance for a building to be constructed on property located at 6300 <br />Wilson Mills Road; and <br />{,HERF.AS, the Village Engineer has reviewed the conceptual site plan of <br />the proposed Progressive Insurance Company Office Park and has given pre- <br />liminary approval oP such plans, subject to the satis£action of conditions <br />iterated in a letter dated September 12, 1988; and <br />WHEREAS, to avoid unreasonable hardship to the property owners, Council <br />desires to grant a height variance o£ five (5) feet to Progressive Insurance <br />Company, subject to the satisfaction of conditions stated by the Village <br />Engineer in a letter dated September 12, 1988; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Progressive Insurance Company is hereby granted a five (5) <br />foot height variance for a building to be constructed on property located at <br />6300 Wilson Mills Road, subject to the satisfaction of conditions stated by <br />the Village Engineer in a letter date September 12, 1988, in addition to £ull <br />compliance with the Codified Ordinances of May£ield Village. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of <br />this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at <br />open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and o£ <br />its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SBCTION 3: This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of
