CURRENT EXPENSES FOR THE TAX DUPLICATE YEARS 1965 TO 1969 INCLUSIVE WIIEREAS, Section 5705.19 of the Ohio Revised Code affords relief by enabling taxing districts to submit a proposal for the renewal of a levy of •taxes for current expenses to the electors at the succeeding November general election. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY TIIE COUNCIL OF TIIE VILLAGE OF ItiAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA_COUNTY OHIO, TWO THIRDS OI' ALL THE MEMBERS ELECTED THERETO CONCUP.RI,NG THEREIN, THAT: - - -_ - . Sec, 1. The amount of taxes which may be raised by the levy of taxes within the ten (10~ mill limitation authorized by Section 5705.02 of the Ohio Revised Code will be insufficient 'to provide an adequate amount for the necessary requirements of said Village of Mayfield for payment of current expenses and it is necessary for the purpose of providing additional funds for current expense that taxes be levied on the taxable property in said village for a period of five years at a rate in excess of such maximum rate authorized by said Section 5702.02 of the Ohio Revised Code. Sec. 2, '.Che question of the renewal of a levy of two and seven tenths (2,7) mills on each dollar of the tax valuation of the taxable property on the tax duplicate within the Village of Mayfield, which amounts to 27~ on each X100.00 of valuation of said property, for a period of five years, beginning with the tax duplicate year 196, for current expenses for the Village of Mayfield under the provisions of Section 5705.19 of the Ohio Revised Code, be submitted to the electors of the Village of Mayfield at the general election to be held on the 2nd day of November, 1965, as authorized by lata, and said election shall be held at the regular places of voting in said district as established by the Board of Elections of Cu3*ahoga County, Ohio, between the hours of 6;30 o'clock A. Isl. and G:30 o°cloclc P. y1.,Eastern Standard Time, and that said election shall be conducted, canvassed and .certified in the manner provided by law. Sec. 3.
