RESOLUTION N0. 89- 1 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole A RESOLUTION REQUFSTING THS CUYAHOGA COUNTY AUDITOR TO ADVANCE TA7E5 FROM THL PROCEEDS OF TAX LEVI&S AND DECLflRING AN F.MffitGENCY WHERRAS, Section 321.34 of the Ohio Revised Code provides that money in a County Treasury to the account of a local authority and lawfully applicable to the purpose of the current fiscal year may be withdrawn by a municipality upon proper request; and WHEREAS, the Council has found and determined that sound fiscal policy requires that such withdrawal be requested from the Cuyahoga County Auditor; now, therefore, BE IT RFSOLVED BY THS COUNCII. OF MAYFffi,D VILLAGB, Offi0, THAT: SECTION 1. The Cuyahoga County Auditor be and is hereby requested to draw warrants and the Treasurer of Cuyahoga County be and is hereby requested to pay the Village of Mayfield all monies presently being held in the Cuyahoga County Treasury to the account of the Village of Mayfield, lawfully applicable to the purpose of the present fiscal year. SHCTION 2. The Clerk be and is hereby authorized and directed imme- diately to forward a copy of this Resolution to the Cuyahoga County Auditor and the Cuyahoga County Treasurer. SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption o£ the Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements, including the requirements o£ Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SHCTION 4. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village in that the monies requested herein are necessary to maintain essential governmental services.
