RESOLUTION N0. 6 56 <br />By Mr. Mason <br />A RESOLUTION TO CANCEh THE STREET LIGHTING ASSESSMENTS <br />FOR THE TAX YEARS 1964 TO 1966, INCLUSIVE, OiQ <br />PERN3ANENT PARCEL N0. 831-19-1 ON. ZOR~~i LAI4E AND TO <br />REFUND TILE PORTION ER1:OPiEOUSLY PAID <br />~G~~HEREAS, it appears that the sum of $31.38 for each of the tax years <br />1964 to 1966, inclusive, has been assessed by -the County Auditor on Permanent <br />Parcel.No. 831-19-1 on Zorn Lane, owned by Arthur S. Swanson and P4..Scaanson, <br />for street lighting purposes; and <br />GTHEREAS, the ocaners of said parcels of land have paid said sum of x;31.38 <br />for the tax year 1964; and <br />[4IiEREAS, the amount. of said assessment was erroneous, because of the <br />fact that the property has a f rontage of only 100 feet and should have been <br />assessed at the rate of 9~ per foot, making a total assessment of X9.00 per <br />year for each of the tax years 1964 to 1966, <br />NOC~7 THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY OHIO, THAT: <br />Sec. 1. The annual installments for special assessments for street <br />lighting for the tar. years 1964 to 1966 on County Auditors Permanent Parcel <br />No. 831-19-1 on Zorn Lane in the Village of 24ayfield, Ohio, are hereby canceled <br />and the Clerk is hereby authorized to file a certif ied copy of this P.esolution <br />with the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, directing him to cancel said <br />installments on said property for tai: years 1965 and 1966 only, inasmuch as <br />the assessment, for the ta:c year 1964 has already been paid, <br />Sec. 2. On receipt of proof of the payrnent of said assessment. in the <br />amount of $31.38 by the owners of said parcel, the Clerlc is hereby directed to <br />ref and t'o said Arthur S. Swanson and M. Swanson, the sum of $4.38 from the <br />Special Assessment Fund of the Village, this representing the amount actually <br />paid by said Owners-f or said assessment:, less the amount properly chargeable <br />to them for the ta:c years 1964 to 1966. <br />Sec. 3.
