By~ Mr. Mason A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT 1'HE CiTi~ISSIONERS OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY_NOT PROCEED AT THIS TIME WITH THE.PROPOSEII SANITARY SEWER TREA'TMEN'T' FACILITIES FOR THE VII,ZAGE OF HAYFIELD WEIERE,AS, the Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County have not if ied affected property owners of this Village of the estimated assessments for the construction of a sanitary sewage disposal treatment plant; and GfHEREAS, the Council of the Village of Mayf field recognizes the need for sanitary sewage f acilities for the orderly development of the affected areas of this Village; and WiIERE,AS, this Council is most concerned about the total cost of the aforesaid improvement, and the method in which the estimated assessments have been calculated. 1VOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF I~iAYFIELD, Ohio, that: _ , ,_.. _ . _. Sec. 1. That it is requested of the Commissioners that re-application be made for additional Federal funds for the purpose of reducing the over-all cost of this project to_.the affected residents. Sec. 2. That it is further requested that the Commissioners re-examine the assessment formulas used by them in order to more equitably assess this improvement to all affected land owners. Sec. 3. That the Cuyahoga County Airport and the areas of the Metropolitan Park System within this assessing district be included for assessment purposes. Sec. 4. The Clerk of the Village of Mayf field is hereby directed to forward a certif ied copy of this resolution to the Board of County Commissioners. Se c® 5. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, safety, health and welfare of the Village of NIayf field, Ohio, and for the further reason that Council wishes to record its objection to the aforesaid improvement before the Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
